Content analysis is one of the scientific methods widely used in media through this study to search research, and given its importance, we want for its origin, definition, and characteristics, and to highlight the steps used In this subject, the researcher conducted an .to apply it in media research applied study on a sample of sports programs on Algerian television using the content analysis tool to highlight the steps used when using this tool.
we reached a set of results, most notably: The content analysis is from quantitative and qualitative studies that depend on measuring the categories of form and content and branching out of each of them.
It is divided into sub-categories according to each study, and one of its most prominent characteristics is dividing the studied content into these categories without leaving any part of it outside them.
In addition to the above, the ended with a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: - The old method of analyzing content must be updated, which requires us as researchers, especially those in charge of the scientific research sector, to allocate budgets for this aspect and develop it further.
- Researches must be done to produce new scientific research methods and methods.
- We must contribute to making an imprint for our Arab nation and not continue to consume all the theories, approaches and tools that come to us from the West.
Why don’t we innovate in discovering new theories or modern tools and possible approaches?.
