The countries of the world face a major challenge in achieving a balance between energy use and environmental preservation on the one hand, and achieving sustainable development dimensions on the other.

This study aims to highlight the role of renewable energies by presenting its various concepts and its preservation of the environment as it is clean energy.

In addition to demonstrating the dimensions of sustainable development and its realization in Algeria through the applications of projects related to the national program for the development of renewable energies and energy efficiency, by exploiting solar energy in educational institutions in remote areas of the country and breaking its isolation.
