Abstract EN

This research aims to identify the extent of the impact of electric energy consumption on achieving the goals of the social dimension of sustainable development in Algeria for the period 2000-2018, and by adopting the standard approach, the study concluded that increasing per capita consumption of electricity leads to a positive and strong impact on education (average years of schooling) And health (life expectancy at birth), combating poverty and hunger, and providing decent work (per capita share of the gross national income), thanks to the provision of educational, health and housing infrastructure, factories and departments with the electric power necessary to improve the conditions of education, health and work.
