The feminist approach is known in international relations as a new theoretical tool, often used to analyze the role of feminism in various levels of influencing politics, as well as domestic as international.

This theoretical tool is inspired by the original struggle of American women, for the right to vote, in the context of what was called, the first wave of feminism.

However, this was followed by the second wave, by witch the women movement, has acquired equality in job opportunities.

During the globalized international relations, beside the institutional liberalism, feminism has been introduced to emphasis the hypothesis, witch says how will the world be if there will be a considered promotion of women, in the affairs of national security and defense? Will there be any more opportunities for peace and diplomatic conflict settlement.
