If the development issue with its traditional data - so to speak - was unable to provide adequate solutions to the multiple problems that affect human life in its various dimensions, and as a result of the increased interest in environmental issues, new knowledge and realistic frameworks with environmental implications appeared in a civil, social context to show volunteer work as a basic support for sustainable development and a catalyst for values, The real partnership between social actors, as volunteer work as a global civic activity gives mobility, flexibility and comprehensiveness to crowded and complex concepts such as sustainable development, and according to this proposition we will try to present a theoretical foundation that examines the relationship between the outcomes of good citizenship represented by volunteer work and mechanisms to achieve sustainable development.
