The aim of this article is to present the integration and trajectory of discourse analysis in Africa.
First, we recall its close links with the French school of discourse analysis based on the mobility of scholarship holders from universities in sub-Saharan French-speaking Africa.
The projects, initially individual, have provoked a theoretical scattering of research, the epistemological roots of which are then shown.
Finally, we discuss the challenges of discourse analysis with the advent of the African Discourse Analysis Network (R2AD).
This turning point in the development of the discipline in Africa seems to be part of a desire to disseminate research and for epistemological innovation

L’objectif de cet article est de présenter l’intégration et la trajectoire de l’analyse du discours en Afrique francophone subsaharienne.
On rappelle d’abord ses liens étroits avec l’école française d’analyse du discours à partir de la mobilité de boursiers des universités d’Afrique francophone subsaharienne.
Les projets, individuels au départ, ont provoqué un éparpillement théorique des recherches dont on montre, ensuite, les ancrages épistémologiques.
Enfin, l’on évoque les défis de l’analyse du discours avec l’avènement du Réseau africain d’analyse du discours (R2AD).
Ce tournant dans le développement de la discipline en Afrique semble s’inscrire dans une volonté de diffusion de la recherche et d’innovation épistémologique
