Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة تقدير دالة المنتجات الصيدلانية و النباتات الطبية خلال الفترة (1994-2017) في الأردن من خلال نموذج قياسي، و تم الإعتماد لتقدير الدالة على منهجية الإنحدار الذاتي للفجوات الزمنية الموزعة المتباطئة (ARDL) وا لتي تعمل على فصل تأثير الأجل القصير عن الأجل الطويل للسلاسل الزمنية، و توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود أثر إيجابي للدخل على إنتاج المنتجات الصيدلانية و النباتات الطبية في المدى الطويل و القصير و هذا يتفق مع النظرية الإقتصادية فكلما يزداد الدخل يرتفع الطلب على السلع و الخدمات، و وجود أثر موجب لمعامل تغلغل الواردات على إنتاج المنتجات الصيدلانية و النباتات الطبية في المدى الطويل و القصير، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود أثر سالب لمؤشر الإنفتاح التجاري على إنتاج المنتجات الصيدلانية و النباتات الطبية في المدى الطويل و القصير، و تعزى هذه النتيجة إلى أن الواردات في الإقتصاد الأردني أكبر من الصادرات الوطنية، إضافة إلى عدم وجود أثر للأسعار على إنتاج المنتجات الصيدلانية و النباتات الطبية في المدى الطويل، بينما كان الأثر سلبي في الأجل القصير و هذا يتماشى مع النظرية الإقتصادية فكلما ارتفعت الأسعار يقل الطلب على السلع والخدمات.

English Abstract

This study aimed to estimate the demand function of pharmaceutical products and medicinal plants during the period (1994-2017) in Jordan through an econometric model, using autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) methodology.

the study found a Positive effect for the production of pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical chemicals, and medicinal plants in the long and short run, and this is consistent with economic theory.

The higher income, the higher demand for goods and services, and a positive effect of price penetration factors on the production of pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical chemicals, and medicinal plants in the short and long term.

The results of the study also showed a negative impact of the index of commercial openness on the production of pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal plants in the long and short term, and this result is attributed to the fact that imports in the Jordanian economy are greater than national exports, while imports of products, in addition to a positive effect of prices on The production of pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical chemicals and medicinal plants in the long run, While the effect was negative in the short term and this is in line with economic theory, the higher the price, the less the demand for goods and services
