The study of orientalism refers to the problematic of the relationship between the ego and the other, which is often characterized by tension and conflict, either by a religious or ideological basis or by a material's one.

this controversial relationship is the one that revealed a new type of Western studies related to the East in order to tighten its grip on it.

which, with the knowledge it provides, has been able to penetrate more into the life of oriental, imposing itself as an undisputable cognitive model, and presenting stereotypes about eastern societies.

they were the dominant images of both the eastern and western imaginations until the end of the twentieth century, with the emergence of some studies that were able to refute orientalist knowledge.

and this is what promoted the orientalists to try to renew their old studies.
