Education is a sector of the areas that I knew a great deal of change and vulnerability to developments known technology Aaqalam and communication new, especially after the increased use of social networking sites, as one of the most important ways in which an opportunity to be exploited, because they provide a flexible virtual environment communicates through which parties the educational process, with the provision of educational models based on strategies that allow them to obtain information and knowledge and exchange ideas, as well as the preparation of a generation of teachers and learners who possess modern communication skills.

accordingly, this study aims to shed light on the reality of e-learning through social media networks at the Algerian university, particularly Facebook and YouTube, and their effectiveness in the field of education compared to the increasing demand for users of these networks by the professor and students, and what these sites can offer to improve.

in the educational process, knowledge of communication network technologies and their educational applications, as well as recognizing their advantages and disadvantages.
