The concept of sustainable development is directly related to population, since the people are the ones creating wealth and the economies reap the sowed benefits.

On the same line of thought, the real level of development in a society depends on the quality of its human resources.

Based on that, this research paper seeks to study sustainable development in light of its relationship with the green economy, which means sustainable economic growth in relation to the preservation of the environment and its various elements.

In other words, studying the environmental balance and its role in reducing carbon emissions resulting from industries based on non-renewable energy sources represented in coal, petroleum and fossil fuels, which led to Increasing the harmful carbon footprints, as well as a threat to these scarce resources, which are estimated to run out in the short term.

To achieve this goal, the research at hand aims to answer the following question: What is the relationship between achieving sustainable development and environment in Algeria?
