to achieve this purpose, the literary translator takes into account the need for cultural elements in the translated texts so that he or she can bridge the gap in the worldview between the receivers of the source text and the target audience.

therefore, the emphasis on encyclopaedic knowledge becomes an essential condition, as the translator becomes a mediator between languages and a bridge between cultures, working to open the way for dialogue and interculturality between peoples, which contributes to the exchange and sharing of knowledge through civilisational contact by and through translation.
