the scientific and medical discourse in particular witnessed the emergence of many new terms that were difficult to Arabise and created a challenge to the translator, so we find one foreign term against several terms, which may it creates confusion for the recipient which term to adopt, and this plurality is incompatible with the nature of the specialized scientific language that investigates accuracy and clarity, this research paper aims to shed light on the problem of the plurality of terminology in the scientific discourse and work on how to unify it.
