If we focus on the state of the Arabic language, we notice the deterioration and decline that you know on the tongue of its children, given the spread of slang and its mixing with foreign languages, and in our view, this is a bitter reality that has affected even the school in all educational stages.

there is no doubt that progress in language teaching curricula contributes to empowering it in its surroundings, and ensuring its continuity, just as the random change and confusion in those curricula help to fossilize the language and its backwardness.

add to this the successive reforms that the educational system has known in our country, from the pedagogy of contents to the pedagogy of goals to the pedagogy of competencies.

in the light of the adoption of competency pedagogy, we ask the following question : did this approach succeed in teaching the Arabic language to our students ? or was it just the protection of an educational curriculum in the Arab environment without taking into account its differences and distinctive characteristics ? in our endeavor to answer this question and others, in our research, we will be tagged with the teaching of the Arabic language among students of the intermediate stage between reality and horizons, delve into the most important problems that prevent the student from learning the Arabic language correctly, and what are the possible ways to address the situation, in the hope of improving the students’ level on the one hand, and on the other hand, in response to the malicious calls that seek to dissolve the Arabic language under the slogan of globalization.
