Our research paper dealt with the appropriate methodological steps for research in the field of new media of communication and the epistemological obstacles that confront the researcher in light of a new and constantly changing media environment, The rapid and increasing growth of these media in contemporary societies that have become dependent on them as a primary means of communication, access to information and the exchange of cultures and customs, As well as in the fields of learning, economics, politics and the emergence of new patterns of communication and the formation of social relations between individuals as well as identities through these media that formed virtual societies parallel to real societies and created a system for interaction and social communication in which the conditions and rules of affiliation and mechanisms of dealing and moral rules are determined, which became part of daily life.
