Abstract EN

In this study, the main aim is to clarify the meaning of the political concept which is Democratic Security, also, explain the relationship between Democracy and security.

Moreover, in this article, we will make an effort to introduce the theoretical framework of democratic security in order to highlight each explanation and definition given to the concept of Democratic Security.

Democratic Security stands as one of the most coherent and recognizable programs of study in international relations.

Yet despite the pages of research devoted to the subject and claims about its law-like nature, democratic security remains a highly contested finding.

In large part, this contestation arises out of an enduring question: What are the main definitions and elements of democratic security?
