"Best interests" is a principle of the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child, where it was widely applied in the internal laws as an explanatory and guiding principle, that should be consulted and guided in all actions concerning children, who lived, grew up and acquired culture, identity, and social norms within the local community.

Now, with the expansion of the Internet, virtual communities have emerged, borders of countries and locals' community have disappeared, in addition to their authority in protecting the child; Thus, child has become more vulnerable for deviation that may take a punitive description.

Therefore, shedding light on juvenile delinquency in the cyberspace constitutes a research opportunity that carries within it a breakthrough towards protecting the best interests of the child in the digital environment.
