Abstract EN

This article deals with the controversy of Muslim-Christian coexistence and non – coexistence in Andalusia, which is one of the most important issues raised by the Islamic presence in the Iberian peninsula.

It aims to reveal the Christian and Jewish interaction with the Islamic conquest of Andalusia, which was made by Muslims a place of freedom and tolerance in all fields.

However, historical changes especially the fall of Andalusia revealed that christian spain rejected coexistence with Muslims and Jews and expelled them.

What is the position of Christians and Jews regarding the Islamic conquest, and what are the results of the Islamic-Christian coexistence and non-coexistence in Andalusia? We found out that christians and Jews defended the Islamic conquest especially at its beginning and considered it a refuge but with the fall of Andalusia, Muslims suffered from torture, persecution and extermination by inquisition.
