Abstract EN

The current study aimed to reveal the level of emotional intelligence among a sample of 100 students(47 female and 53 male) in the third year of secondary education in the wilaya of Mostaganem, Algeria, as well as the differences between them according to gender and academic specialization.

Using the descriptive approach and a questionnaire to measure emotional intelligence.

The results were as follows: The level of emotional intelligence among students of the third year of intermediate secondary school There are statistically significant differences in emotional intelligence due to the sex variable in favor of males and to the academic specialization variable in favor of scientists.
