The present study is based on an approach built around a fundamental and critical question which can be formulated as such: how can one keeps relying on heritage, on the one hand, by investigating kaki's theatre in developing its theatrical methods, and on the other hand by coping with the social change taking place in the country at that time? in light of this, "koul wahed ou'hokmou" play has been selected as a case study for this approach since it represents the core of this alliance between heritage and theatre art.

within the framework of kaki 's keen concern in keeping pace with social change that Algeria experienced, especially in the context of the great role expected from the Algerian woman.

this reality has been depicted through kaki's deployment of the legendary character "Jawhar", and her performance on stage with all its cultural patterns that were deposited over centuries within the community that produced it, amongst the most prominent of these patterns is the pattern of male domination.

in an attempt to crystallize an important aspect regarding the nature of male domination, the Grimas global model has been selected as a case study to work upon so that to render the various forms of conflict that exist when trying to connect the self / essence / woman, to the topic of value/freedom, freedom of decision, freedom of choice...

etc and that is by discussing the relationships of loss, ownership, and the relationship of all this to the resurrection of conflict in addition to the making of performance on the stage as well as the expression of the peculiarity of the historical stage, and the movement of social change in the country.
