Since its dawn and evolution, aestheticism has been marked by its inception and development towards its independence as a philosophical science on its own as it is characterized by a quest for what is essential in the activity of art, and the path was not paved, but was linked to many intellectual and philosophical trends, both material and idealism, which tried to give, in their looks, explanations about what art is.

it is very consistent with its intellectual theses, principles and theoretical postulates, and does not deeply reveal the essence of art.

the research on the "principle of conformity" in art has summarized many of those contradictory trends, whether that principle is related to the physical reality (apparent, real, and sensual) within realistic physical trends or beyond reality (ideal, total, concept) as in the idealistic trends and this represents the core of the present study based on the assumption that art, although it aims at the "identical" or "the total", is not the identical or the total, which is one of the designs and achievements of the philosophical mind, and that the realism of art is determined by the aesthetic form.
