Abstract EN

The pioneers of the festive theater headed by Abdel Karim Berrechid, through their theatrical texts, tried to achieve the social dimensions of this form of the theater, and strive to rebel against the Aristotelian theater, especially at the level of the theatrical writing in order to embody an Arab festive theater.

the aim through this study is to seek to reveal the most important goals that this direction of theater has devoted by depicting the reality of human existence in Ibn al Roumi’s play in the shantytowns of Abdel Karim Berrechid, and depicting the relationship of the festive theater to the social existence of the Arab human.
