The present research aims to shed light on the most important manifestations of the decorative art development in Algeria during the ottoman era, which reflected on all aspects: political, economic and social, and a clear reflection on the cultural side, arts and architecture fileds.

and through the selected models-the mosques in the city of Constantine-the most important features of this development are mainly related to the existence of some foreign styles and decorative techniques, which were not known before, as well as the continuation of some local traditions that were known before the ottoman empire, and to a lesser extent, we record some manifestations of innovation.
