Abstract EN

This study aimed to evaluate the ESG practices in Turkish companies (Allianz Turkey- Aktif Portföy) in light of the COVID-19 pandemic that the world is going through today, which has a negative impact on the economies of countries in a short period.

And the descriptive analytical method to study the problematic of the study.

The study found that Turkish companies succeeded in overcoming the Covid-19 crisis as a result of their responsible practices according to ESG standards, which ensure that all shocks and global conditions, whether at the macro or partial level, are overcome through proactive risk management and change management.

This study recommends adopting ESG standards at the global level that have proven effective in overcoming crises, and supporting the application of the ESG model by companies, banks and the financial market, through a set of laws, mandatory legislation and incentive measures.
