Abstract EN

The study aimed to highlight and analyze the causes of oil price changes due to their effects on the economy of producing or consuming countries.

The fluctuation of oil prices led to the emergence of economic crises in the world, and Algeria was not immune to that.

The study found that the changes in oil prices in Algeria had many negative economic, political and social repercussions, and the repetition of these negative results with each drop in oil prices necessitates the adoption of a targeted and thoughtful strategy based on diversifying sources of income.
