Abstract EN

There is no doubt that anthropology has been affected in some way by the tremendous successive developments that have taken place in societies in light of globalization; espe¬cially in regard to information technologies, Internet technology, and web- sites which have generated by the technological revolution; especially social networks, which have worked successfully to overcome the difficulties and distances which link individuals, whether locally, or at the Arab, or the global level, but as highly infiuential channels that provide the peoples of the region with opportunities they have never known or familiarized with in expressing theirviews.

The present research provides a description of the nature of the new media and their role in defining anthropological thought, a science which studies man in his past and present, and is concerned with studying human behavior within the cultural and social context in general.
