Today, humanity is witnessing a new stage in its history, represented by the emergence of a new society in which the individual lives and interacts in.

This society is called the virtual community designation, which is associated with the development-taking place at the level of the modern information and communication technologies.

This society has come to play an important and increasing role in the lives of individuals comparing to the role of the real society and in sometimes it may even exceed it.

Therefore, it has become very necessary for societies to be aware of this new reality and thus work to provide its members with the necessary tools and knowledge to live in this new society.

This educational responsibility is what is called nowadays "the media education", which many societies resort to in order to teach the individuals, especially children, ways to deal with the contents of the media in general, as well as the media of the virtual world in particular.

Because the latter is mainly similar to the traditional society when it comes to: "trade, friendship, fraud, crime, defamation, misinformation, media, education ...
