Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to evidence the importance of coordination between the fiscal and monetary policies in Iraq by analyzing the coordination between the two policy indicators and their impact on inflation rates, as well as measuring the degree of coordination between the two policy indicators and their impact on inflation rates in Iraq for the period (2004-2019) using the autoregressive model with slow periods Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model (ARDL).

The research concluded that inflation in Iraq is a phenomenon that has grown after 2004 due to the large increase in salaries and wages, and that coordination between the two policies has an important role in controlling inflation rates.

The long term between the monetary and financial variables together and the inflation rates, If the error correction parameter is confirmed at the value (-1.54769) at a significant level (1% ), that is, it is negative and significant, and this parameter also expresses the speed of adjustment between the short and long term, as the value of the error parameter indicates that the short-term imbalance is corrected during (1.54769) of time.
