Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور القيادة التحويلية في تطوير أداء مديري المدارس المتوسطة بدولة الكويت من وجهة نظر المعلمين، و تم تحقيق أهداف الدراسة باستخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، و تكونت عينة الدراسة من (200) معلم و معلمة، تم اختيارها بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية، و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطوير استبانة مكونة من (31) فقرة توزعت على خمسة مجالات هي : (التأثير المثالي، و الاستثارة الفكرية، و التحفيز الإلهامي، و الاعتبارات الفردية و التمكين)، تم التأكد من صدقها و ثباتها.

و توصلت الدراسة إلى أن دور القيادة التحويلية في تطوير أداء مديري المدارس المتوسطة من وجهة نظر المعلمين ككل جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، و جاء مجال التحفيز الإلهامي بالمرتبة الأولى و بدرجة مرتفعة، و في المرتبة الأخيرة مجال التمكين بدرجة متوسطة، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (α≤0.05) بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة عن دور القيادة التحويلية في تطوير أداء مديري المدارس المتوسطة من وجهة نظر المعلمين تعزى لمتغير الجنس و لصالح الذكور، بينما لا توجد فروق تعزى لمتغيرات سنوات الخبرة و المؤهل العلمي.

و في ضوء النتائج خلصت الدراسة إلى عدة توصيات منها : تفعيل تفويض الصلاحيات لمديري المدارس لإيجاد نظام للحوافز لرفع الروح المعنوية للمعلمين في المدارس.

English Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the role of transformational leadership in the developing of the performance intermediate schools principals in the State of Kuwait from teachers' point of view, The descriptive survey method was used, The sample of the study was consisted of (200) male and female teachers whom were selected in a stratified random way, To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisted of (31) items was developed and divided into five domains: (ideal impact, intellectual arousal, inspirational ability, individual attention, and empowerment), which were verified for their validity and reliability.

The results of the study That the role of transformational leadership in the developing of the performance intermediate school’s principals in the State of Kuwait from teachers' point of view was high, the domain of inspirational ability came first and with a high degree, and in the last place the domain of empowerment and a medium degree.

The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the mean responses of the study sample about the role of transformational leadership in the developing of the performance intermediate school’s principals from teachers' point of view attributed the variable of gender in favor of males, Also, there were no significant statistical differences that are attributed to the variables of years of experience and educational qualification.

Based on the findings of the study, the researcher recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Activating the delegation of authority for school principals to create a system of incentives to raise the morale of teachers in schools.
