The wide spread of technology has led to shorten the gap between advanced countries who has this technology and the less developed countries or the third world countrie, these latters are trying hard to make use the technology to achieve their development.

One of the most important tools to do so is the lisence contract to use patents of some invention, these patents are considered as a two edged sword, from one hand they can benefit from the inventions, from the other hand, they suffer from restrictions imposed on them by the advanced countries, this can disrupt third world countries from achieving the development they seek.
