Abstract EN

This paper has been presented after reading their sayings attentively and carefully obtained their words from its credible references.

To start, the present paper briefly introduced the biography of both Suleiman IbnHarb and IbnḤajar, then commenced to lay out the differences between both scholars in their views of “Hadith Narrator”, starting with Suleiman IbnHarb's view followed by that of IbnḤajar.

The paper then reviews adequately and methodically other prominent Hadith scholars' views of “Hadith Narrator”.

The scope of this study categorized Hadith Narrators into (1) discredited Narrators; or (2) verified Narrators, followed by the educated placement of Narrators in either category, to showcase and conclude the results of the aforementioned investigation of the “Hadith Narrator” integrity of character.

This study included 18Hadith Narrators whom IbnḤajar disagreed with Suleiman IbnHarb on their integrity of narrating character.

Notably, Suleiman IbnHarb discredited 9 Hadith Narrators and verified eight.

This study shed light on IbnHarb and IbnḤajar scholarly status and their elite placement among Hadith's scholars.
