The objective of this study was to identify the relationship of optimism and pessimism with satisfaction with life in the primary school teachers in Al-Baha city.

The aim was to detect the levels of optimism and pessimism in the study sample and to identify the significance of differences in the levels of these variables in the study sample, The study was designed to detect the possibility of predicting optimism and pessimism through satisfaction with the life of primary school teachers in Madinqarn.

The study was conducted on a simple random sample of the primary school parameters in Al Baha city of (101) teachers, representing 15.5% I study, I applied them to measure the existing Arab optimism and pessimism of the preparation of "Badr al-Ansari 1999" And the measure of satisfaction with life prepared by Magdi El-Desouki, 1998.

The study found that the level of optimism among primary school teachers in Al-Baha city is high (107.20).

The level of pessimism among primary school teachers in Al-Baha city is low, with an average of 44.82 and a relative weight of 37.35.

Life in elementary school in Al Baha city is generally high with an average of (121.12).

The results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant correlation between (0.01) between satisfaction with life and optimism.

And a statistically significant inverse relationship (0.01) between satisfaction with life and pessimism among primary school teachers in Baha city And that the level of satisfaction with the life of primary school teachers in the city of Baha predicts (53.3% ) of the levels of optimism and (17.9% ) of the levels of pessimism among primary school teachers in the city of Baha.

Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which were the holding of seminars and workshops aimed at raising the awareness of teachers about the importance of optimism and distance from pessimism in order to maintain their psychological health, and the need to conduct further research and studies on the subject of optimism and tolerance and its association with mental health and positive psychology by applying to Differentiated samples.
