Abstract EN

This study set out to investigate the extent to which Intermediate school mathematics teachers in Jeddah City possessed metacognitive thinking skills, as well as the relationship between mastering teachers these skills according to the variables (years of experience, the number of training courses, academic qualification).

In order to achieve these aims, an observation card for mathematics teachers' teaching performance was applied in light of some metacognitive thinking skills.

The instrument was verified in terms of validity and reliability and was administered to a sample of (30) teachers randomly selected (6 teachers from each office in the second semester of the academic year 1438/1439 AH in the City of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia).
