Legislation depends on interest as a basis for criminalization when legal rules are legislated, because of its essential role in the Penal Code; As its protection provides stability for the state and its followed system, and these interests may be individual or collective, because every crime constitutes an attack on an interest, which the legislator assessed its importance, so he bestowed upon it his criminal protection.

Crimes in terms of wasting a legal interest or threatening them with danger are of two types, namely: crimes of harm and crimes of danger.

The importance of reliance on (legal interest), as the subject of legal protection in the crime, that is, as the content that represents the (legislation bug) in the criminal rule is the affiliation of certain crimes to one legal system and then the legal interest is relied upon and not the pillars of crime.
