Abstract EN

The current study dealt with deixis which considered one of the four aspects of pragmatics, trying to find out the meanings that people mean when speaking.

The study sample (sermon of the farewell argument) for the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) was the sermon he delivered in his Hajj, in which he had clear signs that imply that the days of his departure of life are very close.

Based on the problematic of its content: to what extent did deixis contribute to the interconnection of the pillars of the Hajj farewell sermon for the Prophet Muhammad (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), and how deixis influenced in the speech upon the recipient.
