Anxiety is a vague and mysterious human emotional state, differs from fear in that the reason behind is not known, but rather a mysterious cause, and anxiety is the main motivation and the first factor in the movement of man from one state to another and his development in life in relation to existentialism, anxiety regarding existentialism, is not the anxiety that causes the person to be in a state of stagnation and silence, but rather what moves the person and pushes him forward, This study has dealt with the anxiety in the novels of Inaam kachachi (Sawaqi al-Quloub), (The American Granddaughter), (Tushari), (Al nabitha), in which we tried to clarify the ideas and contents of existentialism, and the study adopted the descriptive analytical approach as well as interpretation to reveal the manifestations of anxiety and its forms as well as its effect on the characters in the novels.
