The aim of the research is to prepare and implement educational units for the constructivist learning strategy, to identify the effect of the constructivist learning strategy on learning skills.

the researchers used the experimental method with two groups, an experimental group and a control group.

the research community was determined by the intentional method of third-grade students, department of physical education and sports sciences - college of basic education at al-Mustansiriyah university.

as for the research sample, it consisted of female students of the department of physical education and sports sciences, the third stage of the academic year 2020-2021, and the educational program was implemented for a period of 12 weeks, with one educational unit per week, and the teaching unit lasted 60 minutes.

the research concluded that the use of the constructivist learning strategy had an effective effect in learning some basic skills in football for halls.

the study recommended emphasizing the use of the constructivist learning strategy in teaching some basic football skills for the halls, and the use of this strategy in learning other skills and games.
