Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of training program for improving social intelligence of the preparatory school hearing impaired students.

The study sample consisted of 16 hearing impaired students in the preparatory stage from OMAR-IBN ELKHATAB school of the hearing impaired in Mansoura Aldakahlia Governorate, they were divided into two groups 8 as control group and 8 as experimental group, who got the lowest marks on the social intelligence scale of the hearing impaired (prepared by the researcher) their ages ranged between 12-15 years and had hearing ranged between 40-70 db.

The study instruments included the scale of the family's socio-economic level (Abdelaziz Elshakhs, 2013), an social intelligence scale of hearing impaired students (prepared by the researcher), training program to improve social intelligence for the study sample (prepared by the researcher).

The study results are: the effectiveness of training program on improvement of social intelligence of the preparatory school hearing impaired students.
