Abstract EN

The current research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a selective program in modifying the attitudes of female teachers towards children with autism disorder in Kuwait.

The research sample consisted of (24) female teachers whose ages ranged between (25-45) years.

The study tools were represented in the scale of attitudes of special education teachers towards children with autism disorder (prepared by the researcher), and the selective program to modify teachers' attitudes towards children with autism (Prepared by the researcher), and the results of the study concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post measurement of the scale of attitudes of special education teachers in favor of the experimental group, and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post measurements on the scale Attitudes of special education teachers in favor of the post-measurement, while the results of the study concluded that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the experimental group scores.

The researcher recommended using the selective program used in the current study to modify the attitudes of special education teachers towards children with autism.
