The current research aimed to build a measure of higher thinking skills.
The basic research sample consisted of (68) teachers who were deliberately selected from schools for the displaced in Erbil, for the academic year (2019-2020), distributed among (4) primary schools, and to achieve the research objectives, the The research tool to measure the higher thinking skills of the teachers, and the tool consisted of (8) skills containing (43) paragraphs, and in its final form of (40) paragraphs.
, Retesting and its coefficient of stability was (0.81) and the second method using the alpha-Cronbach equation whose value was (0.88).
The data were statistically treated using the simple correlation coefficient and the (t) test for one sample, and the (t) test for the significance of the correlation coefficient.
The results showed that the level of higher-order thinking skills was low among the respondents in general.
In light of the research results, a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions were drawn up.
