اهتم علماء القانون و الجريمة و الاجتماع الجنائي و المجتمع الدولي، بالتطورات الحاصلة في مسار جريمة الإتجار بالبشر، على الصعيدين الوطني و الدولي، و لاحظوا تزايدا مخيفا في هذا النوع من الجرائم.
إذ لم تعد محدودة في الإطار و الحيز الجغرافي الوطني لدولة أو بعض الدول، و إنما أضحت جريمة عابرة للقارات و الأقاليم و البلدان.
فقد أكدت بيانات و احصائيات مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة، أنه لا توجد منطقة في العالم بمأمن من هذه الجريمة و تداعياتها، إذ يتم الإتجار بالبشر واستغلالهم في جميع دول العالم.
و لذلك عدت هذه الجريمة من الجرائم ضد الإنسانية و من ثًم فهي جريمة دولية استنادا للأنظمة الأساسية للمحاكم الجنائية الدولية، و على رأسها المحكمة الجنائية الدولية لعام 1998.
English Abstract
Scholars of law, crime, criminal sociology and the international society are interested in the evolution of the trajectory of human trafficking crime nationally and internationally.
They have noticed that there is a huge frightening increase in this kind of crimes.
It is no longer limited to the national geographic framework and space of a country or some countries, but also has become a transcontinental crime all over the world.
The data and statistics of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime confirmed that no region in the world is safe from this crime and its repercussions, as human trafficking and exploitation take place in all countries of the world.
Therefore, this crime is considered a crime against humanity and is thus an international crime based on the statutes of the international criminal courts, especially the 1998 International Criminal Court.
