The current study aimed to identify the concept of freedom and the conceptual framework of the concept of freedom and the Islamic rooting of the concept of freedom in the Holy Quran, and instilling this concept in the hearts of people through the masjid as an example of an educational institution.

The study ended with the proposed concept of developing the concept of freedom as stated in the Holy Quran and how to inculcate the concept of freedom in the masjid.
