Abstract EN

The study deals with discussing the role of faculty members at Cairo University in supporting and enhancing cultural and intellectual security strategies, based on the importance of the vital role that the teacher plays in general and the faculty members in particular in forming students ’awareness, as the teacher has a very important role in protecting students’ thought and culture.

, By conducting a field study on a sample of university students whose strength reached (150) individuals, noting that the anthropological method was used in conducting the research, through the use of questionnaires, directed interviews and in-depth focus groups with students, while the descriptive and analytical approach was used.

In interpreting and analyzing the topic of the research, within the framework of using a theoretical framework that included the use of the theory of "cultural capital", in order for the researcher to identify the role of faculty members in confronting these phenomena that have become threatening states and peoples.
