Abstract EN

The study aimed at revealing the degree of contribution of private school principals in reducing the stress level of their teachers in the Amman governorate.

in order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire.

consisted of five elimension the questionnaire consisted of (31) items, and the signs of validity and seliability were verified, the sample of the study consisted of (442) teachers working in private schools.

the study finding showed that the role of principals in reducing level of tension was high at personal side, work pressure and the relationship with parents.

in the other hand the technical support of the principals for the teachers was medium.

the study results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the study sample.

and the stady finding that, no statistically significant differences (=0.05) due to gender impact in all dimensions and the existence of statistically significant differences (=0.05) due to the impact of experience in teaching in all dimensions, and the differences in favor of the category of experience more than 10 yearsbased on the results of the study, the researcher recommends the need to pay attention to the development and improvement teacher performance through holding training courses, and also participation in scientific conferences that increase the chances of professional growth, which works to reduce the level of stress.
