Abstract EN

This study aimed at defining the role of the tablet in teaching the Holly Quran and Intonation (pronunciation) (Tajweed) for grade seven at the basic level.

The problem of the study is representative in difficulties which facing students in reading accurately the Holly Quran and applying its Intonation.

The researchers tried to trace out this problem so as to find appropriate solutions though out effective teaching using computerized devices (tablet).

The study adopted the descriptive approach to conduct this research.

To collect the information and the data a questionnaire was distributed among fifty males and females teachers as the study sample, and the study population is the teachers of the Holly Quran at the basic level in Umdorman Locality.

The study concluded with the following findings: Following the traditional method in the educational process is the main reason for the lack of interaction between the teacher and the students.

The computerized tablet devices have an effective role in solving some teaching problems and enriching the learning process.

Besides, the researchers recommend that: Technology devices should be basically applied to education, also appropriate plans should be adopted for current electronic learning, and expand workshops and training in modern methods of teaching and learning.
