The research aims to identify the two factors of time and place in the novel by lutfia al-Dulaimi The woman of Saturn by identifying the technique used and its function shedding light on the factor of time in the novel , especially since the prominent technology in this factor is retrieval.

As for the place factor , the spatial diversity was manifested in order to embody the existing contradiction in the human reality ,We have reached a number of results , the most prominent which are : - The author employed retrieval technique in order to depict many important stages of the history of Iraq.

- Sheds light on human suffering , especially Iraqi women under war.

- The diversity of the places in the novel into the two opposites couple such as harmony and non-harmony places .
