This Study aims at Shedding light on the importance of employing the tradition in the temporary poetic Arabic text for the tradition is a rich soruse for poets to enrich there texts .the study concentrate on Abdul Aziz Al Makalihs "Risala Ila sauf bin Thi-Yazin" This poem is full for religious and muthical traditions.

Troughthem, the poet tries to urge people to ehange the circumstances of their society.

This is carried out by alluding to some heroic figures which represent resistance.

Gowever ;the levels for the employment staggers between positivity and negativism.
