Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the psychological and social problems and their relation to the trend towards drug abuse، the study consisted of (750) secondary school students who were selected according to the cluster method،in order to achieve the objectives of the study، the researcher developed two measures، the first measure (problems of psychological and social problems among high school students) the second measure (the trend towards drug abuse)، the results showed that the level of psychological and social problems among high school students was moderate، social problems were moderate، psychological problems were low، and results showed that the level of attitudes towards drug abuse among secondary students was low، and the absence of statistically significant differences in the psychological and social problems and the trend towards drug abuse among secondary school students according to sex، while the results showed that there are statistically significant differences between psychological and social problems and the trend towards drug abuse according to the economic level، therefore، the researcher recommends further studies and research on the relationship between psychological and social problems and other variables، and conducting empirical studies to improve students' perception of life and society in general.
