أثر جنس و خبرة معلمي و معلمات العلوم على الممارسات التدريسية الصفية في مرحلة التعليم الأساسي

Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to measure and analyze the science teachers’prctices.

the study was conducted with total of (62) science teachers (male & female).

the intended sample was chosen from the basic schools of a directorate in amman during the academic year) 2016-2017(.

the research data was obtained using a likert-type scale questionnaire, it consisted of (19) items.

data were analysed using descriptive statistics; one-way ANOVA and t-test were used.

the results of the study revealed that there was no statistically significant difference at level (α = 0.05) due to the interaction of sex and experience, the results of tukey test post hoc between the three categories of experience on instructional class practices (icp) showed that there were differences in (icp) of male and female due to the longest experience.

the study recommended the following issues: apply results of the study in educational supervision and in teacher pre- service / in- service programs, pay attention to teachers’ practices issues, and orgnize teaching of science in the basic cycle.
