Abstract EN

The holy Quran has been the reference of the Islamic Ummah after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

The holy Quran was sent down from the all knowing and the most powerful, Allah, in the form of seven readings which have been known as the "the seven canonical " readings, that is, they were inherited from a generation to another across the Islamic History.

These readings have been included peculiar linguistic phenomena regarding Arabs different accents or dialects that were rampant at that time and expanded to the extent that they reach into the dialects of Arab modern spoken ones nowadays.

This study discusses the phonological phenomena which the Qurani readings have been familiar with and which have been used and obvious in the Palestinian accents and dialects and used extensively within the mode of slang or spoken language on the base that they are erroneous linguistic forms, but these linguistic forms are fundamentally a branch of that linguistic historical expansion in the greatly vast Arab home.
