The study tried to test the causal relationship between world oil prices and economic growth in Egypt during the period (1980-2019), the study is based on the assumption that there is a two-way extrapolation relationship between economic growth and global oil prices, meaning that global oil prices cause the gross domestic product in the Egyptian economy, and the GDP causes global oil prices, and then oil prices will have a great impact on the structure of economic growth in Egypt.

where it turns out that the causal relationship between world oil prices and real estate real GDP is one-way in the long run, while in the short term there is no causal relationship between world oil prices and real GDP in the Egyptian economy.
